Tomorrow is the last day of high school forever. I’ve been telling myself that this day is coming for at least a month now, but I’m definitely still in denial. Seeing the stage set up for graduation already? Unreal.
But after we explored the gym, a bunch of us grabbed a frisbee and played in the courtyard. Really, it wasn’t anything exciting, but it really summed up a lot of what I wanted my senior year to be: spontaneous, fun, carefree and with my friends. We could have gone home during study hall, but we stayed to soak in some of the final moments of our senior year. And I had a blast. Tomorrow is my last day. I know I’m going to cry, but it will be because I’ve had such a great time that I don’t want to leave.
Live it up.
